falls asleep on the couch: sara goes to bed on the couch if she’s working late and rip falls asleep on his paperwork.
makes friends with the neighbors: sara
sara: tells people to come over for dinner that aren’t the legends
rip: plans came up, please tell barry to stop changing the time so he doesn’t act as your inspiration again
sara: we didn’t break time that badly
rip: barry’s mistakes look insignificant compared to what released mallus
sara: tells the legends to come over (free food, you don’t need to cook)
rip: alright, I guess I’ll socialize with my team. as long as martin comes and shames mr. rory into silence.
wally eats like half the food at the table and they order pizza instead
then someone turns to the history channel for shits and giggles and the legends take turn dragging the program that’s on for being inaccurate or they make comments like “how do you completely butcher this topic” feat rip and nate competing to win the title of most obnoxious historian/time traveller. there is a lot of snark.
is the adventurous eater: sara
hogs the covers at night: sara takes them at night, rip gets cold. it’s a tug of war over the blankets if they’re on opposite ends of the best; if they aren’t, sara wakes up to see rip.
forgets to do the dishes: rip forgets more often then not because the technology of 2163 spoils him, and sara just doesn’t care. ray does them because he thinks they just forgot to do them (it’s a sink filled to the brim with plates).
tries to surprise their partner more often: both rip and sara’s versions of surprise is giving the other a hint or a spoiler of what assholes historical figure they can beat up without consequence and it’s romantic when they get the chance to beat up richard nixon.
sara once tells rip that he can meet alexander the great at his prime and then they meet cleopatra because sara wants to meet cleopatra. it’s fun.
rip’s version of a happy birthday present is telling sara where she could find a version of damien darhk she could beat up and kill without consequence. they go to earth 5.
leaves dirty laundry on the floor: rip’s neater than sara so if he leaves clothes on the floor, it’s because he’s too tired to pick them up. sara throws her clothes onto a chair or in a pile somewhere so their bedroom is a walking hazard most of the time.
stays up til 2 AM reading: rip stays up researching time demons and theories from time master archives, or he looks for potential anachronisms. sara joins him if she can’t sleep and they have late night discussions over drinks.
sings in the shower: sara, but she won’t admit it to anyone. rip finds it cute.
plans date night: sara’s the more romantic of the two but rip’s better at picking restaurants to go to; sara likes date nights more frequently, but rip’s perfectly fine with just going out for the public holidays and anniversaries.
