Family Of 21-Year-Old Destiny Harrison, Who Was Murdered Inside Her Own Baltimore Hair Salon, Is Asking For The Public’s Help In Finding Her Killer While most of us are continuing the happiness of celebrating the holiday season, sadly there are others who are dealing with the aftermath of unspeakable tragedy. The family and friends of Destiny Harrison are heartbroken after she was killed inside her Baltimore hair salon. @BaltimoreSun reports, 21-year-old Destiny Harrison was fatally shot on December 21st while inside her beauty salon located in the McElderry Park neighborhood of Southeast Baltimore. Authorities say they responded to a call at the scene just after 6PM. Once they arrived, Baltimore police officers reportedly found Harrison suffering from gunshot wounds to the head inside the Madam D Beauty Bar. She was then rushed to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead at the scene. According to police, someone allegedly walked into the salon and shot Harrison several times in the head. Other people were also reportedly inside when the shooting happened. Colonel Sheree Briscoe confirmed the initial reports of the crime, but would not go into any further details. However, she is asking for community support to bring the killer to justice. Previous court documents reveal that Harrison filed a burglary, theft and assault charge against someone who broke into her salon on December 9th and there are also reports that those close to her stated that she “feared for her life.” Baltimore homicide detectives are urging anyone with information regarding the shooting o call 410-396-2100 or leave an anonymous tip with Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7lockup. Listen... this is infuriating! And the lack of coverage is very telling! Who is protecting and riding for black women out here?! WHO?! Reposted from @thebougiebraider This story honestly broke my heart! We always say "we don't support the community" but look what happen to her. We always screaming "we know to support each other" but instead we envy and kill each other. If black people took their creativity & talents too help build each other.
