a lot has changed in the past seventy years that he's been sleeping.

technology has advanced, diction has changed, wars have been won - and lost - and people have become superheroes (or at least, that's what the citizens call him and the others, anyway).

one thing that hasn't changed, though, that of which steve is positive, is the way humans - humans from Earth - look like.

and these guys? they weren't human.

steve turns around fully, facing them with caution and a little bit of distrust.
