The Rain Comes
The blaring of sirens is what stunned her first. All around both her and her students was chaos. Shards of broken glass and infrastructure rained down on the lower level classroom. She could only keep her calm for so long, which was why fast action was all that was necessary for this moment. Her students were much older and could easily get away if they so chose and yet some had frozen up in fear. It was those few she grabbed hold of and vaulted towards the nearest safe haven.
Her systems protested as her own weight placed even more pressure on her struts on top of needing to run. A younger green mech stood aghast in the middle of the hallway, looking behind her with utter despair.
Her spark told her to keep running and not to look back, but she needed to grab ahold of him quickly. Energon pumped wildly within her as she pressed forward, grabbing the wasp and not looking back.
Smoke rushed before her, clouding her optics as she drove for the nearest bunker.

That was roughly a couple days ago. The Aquatronian looked over the wreckage in sorrow. Search and rescue teams sifted through it to find the broken bodies of not one but many teachers. Energon spilled recklessly, all for some sort of publicity stunt.
Anger also swelled within her as younglings were also found, crumpled and barely recognizable. A cry unlike any other pushed forth out of the mouths of sires and carriers alike. However, when the only recognizable frame she noticed came into view, all she could do was keep the rain inwards. A cacophony of silence.
