He wasn't alone. He had never been alone. There had always been
another boy, someone else; his mirror. Stiles. He didn't know how
he knew, maybe it was the fact they looked exactly alike, sounded
exactly alike, but weren't the same, or maybe it was just because
despite everything else he'd forgotten, he never forgot who his
brother was. They'd come up in the box together, throwing the group
of boys stuck in some kind of weird concrete place off. No one
would explain anything to them, no matter how had they'd tried --
all they could focus on was the fact they'd gotten a pair of twins
at the same time in the Box.
Thomas sits with his knees up to his chest, brows furrowed as
he watches the boys around shuffle and finish up the day from
afar. Alby, the guy he'd figured to be the leader of this place, told
him they'd come up late, that they'd get the tour tomorrow before
muttering something about having two Greenies at one time.
Thomas didn't get why it was such a big thing that everyone was
reacting so harshly towards the fact he and Stiles had come up
together. It wasn't like they could control what had happened.
They had to live with it too-- but at least it was more comforting
than being alone like everyone else had been (at least, that's
what he was figuring).
The weirdest part for him was the fact that he knew Stiles was
his brother, that they were close and always had been close,
but he couldn't ever remember anything about him or their
relationship. It was terrifying to have someone you just know
is so close to you, someone that just feels like home but not
remember why or how. That was probably worse than losing
all of his memories of his previous life. It doesn't keep
Thomas from pressing his side against his brother's as they
sit, leaning into him to try and get that feeling of safety when
his brain was going haywire with all the different things going
on around them. He needed to calm down, to keep himself
level. He didn't want to freak out in front of all these strangers.
"I don't get why they wont tell us anything.
It's weird."
