How did I know you would say that? Lucky for you I'm not going to pester you about going out, even though you should. I mean, then I would be a hypocrite since I'll be at home watching 80's rom-coms and waiting for chocolate to go on sale the next day.

I am nothing if not predictable when it comes to this sort of thing, after all. It's not as if I'd have anyone to "go out" with.

Though I have to wonder why you'd find it most appropriate to watch movies that came out nearly 40 years ago.

Yeah, yeah. I doubt you would let me try a swig of your tea once it was done since germs and all so what else was I supposed to do? Anyway, what are you up to on Valentine's day?

If you had asked politely, perhaps I would have made you a cup.

It's not my fault! How was I supposed to know that tea would be gross? Usually you drink some great stuff, but I have no idea what you were thinking that day, but that was NOT good. At all.

Most likely, as I explained at the time, because the tea you were drinking had only barely begun steeping.
