"Hey- no, don't apologize." Felicity unfortunately was all too familiar with the way nightmares could plague a person, and not just her own. While yes when she was with Oliver he always said his night terrors were better than before, he still had some pretty rough nights and she had learned from those enough to even be able to try and help Mike on a night like tonight.

"Just take a deep breath... it will be alright, it was just a dream, you're here with me." She said softly, arms around him enough to hold him close but lose enough if he needed to move away he could. Her hand rubbing against his arm comfortingly.

Felicity had two motives for being here for Oliver’s event. One of course being to support her friend in his new career path ( regardless of him technically being her ex-fiance and the reporters here already side-eyeing her enough to the point she was absolutely sure the stories they wrote would include her and their speculation on if Mayor Queen was seeing her again or not ) but also as one of the core members of the very small Team Arrow that was left. She felt it important that she attend just in case since Oliver was fighting her tooth and nail on letting anyone else help despite the fact that he was now probably the man with the most targets on his back now as Oliver Queen. 

Curtis was her plus one though, so that counted for something right? And Lance she had seen around, actually she had seen quiet a few members of the SCPD floating around. So to a point that did ease her concern for Oliver. As a matter of fact she was eased enough that as soon as she felt a hand on her arm all she did was turn and smile instead of jump in surprise like she might have otherwise.

“Hi-.” She said, giving him a searching look as she tried to place him. Did they know each other? She didn’t know him, that much she was sure of because if she had then she knew she’d recognize that face. Calling him handsome was practically an insult to how good looking he was. “Can I help you?” She questioned kindly, turning in his direction and away from Curtis who had gotten distracted by the buffet bar anyway.

It took Barry a good hour to figure out which suit he was for sure wearing, annoying Joe beyond belief. Finally he did end up settling on the gray suit he had told Mike about, and finally took off for the noodle place the other had mentioned, heart pounding. He briefly messaged his friends to leave him be unless it was a serious meta emergency. He deserved a night of fun.

As he had come to realize, he really didn’t get to have so much fun anymore. Being the Flash had really taken apart what little fun he had let himself have. But now? Well now he was hoping that he could. That he was finally going to have some luck and just be able to have a nice date with a guy. A guy who seemed to like Barry.

He found himself in front of the restaurant, having brought flowers, barely having kept them from lighting on fire. He worried at his lip, glancing around before catching sight of Mike, a big smile spreading across his face. “Wow, you look amazing. I mean you said...but seeing is believing.”
