September 11, 1719 - Cures Any Gleet, No Matter How You Came By It
A Rational Account of the Cause, Nature, Seat, and Cure of Gleets, and other such Weaknesses in either Sex usually attending Person [sic] after former ill Cures, Over-strainings, Hard Labours, Miscarriages, Self-Abuses, &c. the Ruin and Bane of the more flourishing Part of Mankind, punish’ in the Person of Onan, Gen. Ch. 28. v. 10. And therefore the Lord slew him, because he had done a detestable Thing. By the Author of the Practical Scheme. This Book is given Gratis up one Pair of Stairs at the Anodyne Necklace without Temple-Bar; at Mrs. Garway’s, the Sign of the Practical Scheme at the Royal Exchange-Gate; at Mr. Cooper’s the Corner of Charles-Court in the Strand. At which Places are also given Gratis the Practical Scheme of Secret Injuries and Broken Constitutions, the Gout System, andlac the Necke Essay. [sic, i.e. “and the Necklace Essay.”]
