"I'm so glad we've done this." Ollie smiled across the table, the small diner they had stopped in for lunch surprisingly busy despite the location in the middle of nowhere.

@dethenryquinn asked; "I think you might be drunk, gorgeous. What have you been up to?" - For Maia 💕
Maia gave a playful pout, she didn't know what drunk meant but she felt bubbly, excitable and, sensitive, "nothing~" she responded as she was sat on top of a dryer, bringing her face up level with his. She was sat on the corner of the machine as it rumbled away beneath her, she was enjoying the vibrations, there was a few empty bottles of beer hidden under the bench by the window opposite the machine.
@dethenryquinn asked: ❝ How far along are you? ❞
It took a few seconds for her to do the mental math before she answered: “A little more than a month or so.” Her words were softer than usual, carefully thought out by her. Big brown eyes peered up at him, so glossy that it appeared that Angélique was on the verge of the tears. Working up the courage to tell him the abrupt news had taken a little time. Though, she could no longer avoid the inevitable and was duty bound to divulge her growing secret.
“It's still quite early on—and I've only found out recently.”

Danila had been sitting on the burner phone ever since he had accidentally found it, not knowing what to do. The rickety construction resembling life he had built around Riff—no, Henry—had come crashing down and it seemed like every move would be a wrong one. So here he was, a paralyzed, anxious mess wondering if everything between him and Henry had been a lie and a ploy.
He wanted to believe in Henry's promise, but knowing the truth made it sound empty even while his touch was gentle. Danila had hoped he would've come clean already; he must've noticed the phone was missing after all. Confronting Henry had come to his mind so many times. But that would make it real. Final.
He could only imagine what the brigade would do to him if they found out he had been sitting on such a bomb, not telling them anything about it. And what would they do to Henry? The mere thought made him want to throw up. And yet he couldn't be sure if Henry was plotting to throw him in prison while hiding behind honeyed words and warm kisses.
Did he have enough evidence to do that?
"Of course I'm worried when we do what we do," he replied. It was true, but it was meant to cover the real reason for his growing uneasiness.
"What mistake?" Suddenly he was paying attention with every cell in his body.

Some days were harder than others. Today was one of the ones that Olivia felt like she had spent most of it on her ass. The case they were working on had brought on a lot of those feelings. The case was brutal, not only in how long they had been working it, but the nature of it. Violent, alarming, every aspect that not only gets the people on the case worked up, but the force and the city also.
Stabler and Benson didn’t fight often, but when they did it was explosive. Heated tempers, raised voices, it always created a scene. Olivia always tried to avoid it when they went around other people, but sometimes her partner got so fired up that there was no backing him down from a fight; and he knew what to say to get her on edge, they’d worked together too long. Once he took her ability to manage this case into question, things grew ugly quickly.
Said fight was what led Olivia over towards their car, needing away from him for a moment to cool her own head. Opening the car door and grabbing her bottle of water before slamming it shut again, her back leaning against the door as she opened it. Feeling as if there were eyes on her, she glanced over towards where a couple unis were standing. “Sorry about that.” She knew all too well that if some on the scene hadn’t witnessed their argument, the way news traveled around here, they’d heard about it by now.
The embarrassment of Stabler’s behavior weighed heavier on Benson than it likely did on him. Seeing as his negative attitude would be sprayed onto everyone until they closed up the scene.
“You guys need anything?” Offering a bit of kindness to try and soften the situation.
@dethenryquinn sent: "can i take you on a date?"
at once, his expression is both confused and pleased, fighting a smile and not fighting the arch of his brow. what a silly boy, wanting to date someone like will. whatever he hopes to find here is almost surely not in store for him. it's telling that his eyes are locked to the blond detective, too keen to watch for cues to be polite or bashful.
"how many others did you ask before you ended up in my kitchen?" it's sharper than he means it to be, and immediately he regrets it, blinking as if it's wounded him too.
"what type of date would you take me on?" hoping to move past his own fumble, his next question reveals his interest a bit too much for his liking too. briefly, his gaze drops to henry's mouth before once again searching his eyes for his intention. it's been a long while since will has attempted dating, even when he's been intimate it's hardly to the rhythm of traditional romance.

This starter as a dare and it’s getting too far. Usually Chris would put it under ‘fun’ label because having a laugh with boys after they talk between themselves about the ‘victim’ reaction but he has to accept that Connor took it too far, pretending to like someone then leaving them. It’s just.. getting out of hand.
“he is, yeah..” he tries his best not to look directly at Con “hm? Claire? Good luck with that! She already got a boyfriend- that nerd blond over there” Leon isn’t half bad but is too good to be in Chris’ team of bullies.
“nah not girly” downs the rest of the drink left in the red cup “let’s do this!” grabbing a hold of Henry’s hand unprompted to lead him to the center of the dance floor, in the corner of his eyes Chris can see Connor smirking at him, eyes encouraging that for a moment Chris feels the bile in his throat for doing this. Henry is too sweet, too innocent for this world and they’re just.. they should stop it. last week it was that girl with long dark hair that wept loudly right in middle of the school corridor after Connor told her to fuck off.
One hand placed on Henry waist and the other holds the boy’s free hand as they sway around, surrounded by crowds. “I like this song..” he comments just to have something to say, breaking this awkward silence. “you uh.. you like Connor?”
“He's kinda cute.” Lily blinked. That was the only reaction the voice next to her elicited. Talking to the air wasn't very helpful in this situation, and for @dethenryquinn, it would be just that. Talking to the air when Lily clearly saw the ghost woman next to her. At least, that's how it had always been. Until now, no one had been able to see the ghost women who almost always accompanied Lily. And now she couldn't even resort to her usual means of silencing the voices. Bloody hell! But sitting in an interrogation room didn't give her the option or access to her other tools. So she had to fall back on the tried and true method: Ignore. As best she could, because Abigail wasn't going to disappear on her own any time soon. She enjoyed seeing Lily in this situation far too much for that.
“I told you that you should have stayed there and waited for the police!” The accusatory tone didn't escape Lily, but instead of replying, she took a closer look at the photos the detective had placed on the table in front of her. “I'm sorry, Detective Quinn. I don't know the man.” Lily shrugged, but let her gaze rest on the photos for another minute. “Too bad, he was such a handsome man.” As she shifted her gaze to the detective, she saw Abigail looking at him more closely. “Silly girl. Not the dead guy, the detective. Tell him that.” But the blonde didn't see it that way at all. Flirting and smiling prettily as she leaned forward a little, revealing a deeper view of her already low-cut black sweater, wouldn't help her here anyway. Homicide was a whole different matter than giving one of the patrol officers a sweet look to avoid a ticket or a closer look at her ID. How soon would they find out it was fake? Lily was in pretty deep shit. “You know, I don't even know why I'm here. I wasn't even in town until Monday, and if I read the news right, when did he die? Five days ago?” Lily lied without blushing. The sooner this was over, the sooner she could - hopefully - get back on the road and then leave town. It was bad enough that the coven had found her. The fact that the guy had fallen from the fourth floor was pretty bad, but what else could she do but call the police? After all, it hadn't been her fault.
