You know, sometimes I consider like what is canon in DBH world. I mean, I feel basically every major event is. So that makes me wonder what a teenage Gavin would be doing in his quarantine. Would he have gotten ill at one point? Or would he be a resilient bastard? Would he be playing animal crossing new horizons today? Or just chilling on his phone watching Tik Tok memes?

And what would Hank be doing? And even Elijah? It’s things like these that make me wonder...

Okay so DBH parallels to Frankenstein...

Okay so if you get the secret Kamski ending of DBH (and you have to make everyone DIE to do this) you unlock 2 of Elijah Kamski’s models in the model viewer. On one he wears a black t- shirt under a black hoodie endowed with a passage of text. This shirt gives new insight into the character of Kamski himself. As the text (written in red letters) reads straight from the letters at the beginning of Frankenstein by Mary Shelley.

This speaks VOLUMES to who Kamski really is and the parallels made to the entirety of Detroit is scary to say the least. After reading Frankenstein myself, which I am ashamed to say I did not read this until literally this week, I was able to make several comparisons to the theme and symbolism in Detroit Become Human. 

One of which being the Frankenstein monster actually being the human consciousness as the main character “creates the monster” out of being negligent to his friends and family and fights against the monster when he is blaming himself for his son’s murder. He blames himself because his wife killed their son to in turn to make him come home from abroad and pay attention to the family. He essentially “created” the monster in his wife as well  because he did not pay attention to her and he blames himself.

I think the main character (Victor Frankenstein) may represent Kamski because of the family members he says he has. His “very pale blonde haired blue eyed sister” that they adopted into their family I think represents Chloe. As she later becomes his wife and mother to his children.

This makes too much sense as Chloe was chosen for the menu screen to be your (the players) conscience or nagging voice. Saying things like “you killed this character.....how could you do that?” Chloe is essentially “the monster” that Victor/Kamski created made to look like the Elizabeth (the wife) in the book.

Starting a Themed Week

Sorry, Neil, I very much disagree.

Something about Gavin just screams cat person. Not saying he doesn't like dogs, but he's got cats, all strays.

Kamski would be a dog person though. But they'd be luxury or attack dogs, like Borzoi, or Doberman Pinschers.

The sound of the door opening made the male turn his head from the large window towards the plain colored door. The frown on his lips disappearing instantly and was replaced with a smile as he saw who had came in the room, raising hand where the wires werent connected to it and had wave hello at his visitor. "Nice to see you again, Elijah," The [Hair color] haired softly said as he smiled at the said male. The brunet sent him a small grin as he closed the door and walked towards the [Hair color] haired.

"Hello darling, how are you today?" Elijah asked as he had reached the male and took a seat on the chair beside the bed. The brunet saw the male rolled his [Eye color] eyes and shrugged. Looking at him with a raise brow as he answered his question. "Couldn't be better," [Name] started as he briefly looked at his left hand, the clear tube with a needle pierce on his [Skin color] flesh to help stabilize his health-- a flash of sadness in his eyes until he looked back at the brunet again and smiled. The emotion gone. "if I wasn't stuck here, you know?" He finished as Elijah's grin falter a bit.

With a sigh, he slowly grabbed [Name]'s hand and intertwined their fingers. The brunet slowly brought it to his lips and placed a kiss on the back of [Name]'s hand, a small smile on his lips as his blue colored eyes looked at the [Hair color] haired male's [Eye color] ones. "I know darling, I know," Elijah softly said as he press another kiss at the back of the male's hand and then have his thumb rub circles to ease the [Hair color] haired male. It was saddening really, the [Hair color] haired male always hated the hospitals, but here he is now, in a hospital and multiple wires tapped to his body to keep him alive. An accident that almost took his life away and now he is here, strapped with machines.

"Why do you even bother, Elijah?" [Name] softly said to the brunet as he squeezed his hand. The said male could only raise a brow as the other let out a tired sigh. Looking back at the window of his room, he continued. "Why do you even bother coming here? I'm a dead man anyway," He softly said as he turn to look at the male beside him. "It's best if you just forget about me."

Silence, the two were quiet as Elijah didn't seem to process what the [Hair color] haired male had said. Why does he bother coming back? Why he doesn't stop visiting? Why he tries to keep him alive? Why he won't even think of forgetting about him? Elijah's brow furrowed as he looked at the [Hair color] haired with an emotion [Name] can't quite tell. "Why do I even bother coming back?" The brunet asked, a bit irritated. Why would his [Name] asked such a thing?

"Why I keep visiting?" The [Hair color] haired kept quiet as he didn't know what Elijah was getting at but still, he let him continue. "Why I try to keep you alive?" The brunet had said as he stood up from his seat, his hand still intertwined with the other's hand. A look of irritation and annoyance evident on his face which made [Name] turn his gaze down to avoid the look in Elijah's face. "Why I won't forget about you?" Elijah continued as he looked at the [Hair color] haired male. His gaze then soften as he answered his questions.

"It's because I love you..." Elijah softly said as he looked at the male lovingly. His blue eyes showing the love and adoration he have with the [Hair color] haired. "Because I am entiredly raptured when I'm with you darling," he continued as he leaned closer towards the male and softly grabbed his face, turning [Name]'s bead to face him. "And I will always be here for you darling, no matter what," the brunet had said as he sent the male a smile. [Name] could only closed his eyes in bliss when Elijah caress his cheek. Elijah wasn't the only one who was raptured with the other. He was too, and he's absolutely happy that this cryptic man wouldn't give up and keep loving him.

"What have I done to deserve you, Elijah?" [Name] softly asked as he opened his eyes. The same loving glint of emotion in his eyes as he watched the brunet let out a small chuckle then grin at him. "When you slipped straight into the pool at that party and had me hooked with your stupidly charming ways darling." Elijah answered as he leaned closer and press a kiss on [Name]'s forehead who the said male let out a small sigh, sending a small glare directed to the brunet as he then rolled his eyes. "It wasn't my fault there," he defended as he saw the bruneg raised a brow with an amused smile on his lips. "That puddle came out of nowhere!" The [Hair color] haired reasoned out as he then chuckled, the memory of that time flashing through his mind.

"Of course darling, I believe you," the brunet had said as he rubbed his thumb on back of the [Hair color] haired palm. Looking straight towards the other's eyes as he smiled. "I was truly enraptured with you that day," he had said as [Name] smiled at him. "Good, because I was with you too," the other responded as Elijah leaned once again and kissed the male, on the lips this time. The two were really raptured with each other's company, and they wouldn't change it for the world.
