DET. SCOTT- “Thanks for coming in Mr. Caparini, I know how difficult this is. But, there are a few questions I wanted to ask...if you want to take a seat?”
ANTHONY- “No need to sit down, I won’t be staying long. I had nothing to do with my wife’s murder, and to be honest I think you should be out there trying to find who killed her instead of wasting your time questioning me.”
DET. SCOTT- “Oh I agree, Mr. Caparini, but we have received information regarding your “plan” to divorce your wife. Why go to all the trouble to devise this plan to have your cousin seduce her, when you could have just filed for divorce///and now she is dead. Quite convenient, wouldn’t you say?
ANTHONY- “Just so we both are on the same page, Detective...there is no correlation between my plans to divorce my wife and her recent demise.”
DET.SCOTT- “You may not think so, but we need to look at all leads, and your plan to trick your wife and then filing for divorce all on the same night she winds up dead seems a little questionable. I have one other question. Who were you with last night?”
ANTHONY- “I was in Strangetown, on business. I was with no one.”
DET. SCOTT- “That is not what Mr. Plant, the manager on duty at the Strangetown Comfort Inn told us. “
ANTHONY- “Well, my secretary was there for a while, as I said I was on business.”
DET. SCOTT- “Some secretary you got, she stayed in your room all night working...according to Mr. Plant.”
ANTHONY- “You are more than welcome to speak to Miss Cole. She is currently staying at my Villa, but I am sure you know that as well.”
DET. SCOTT- “Yes, we know that and We plan on it....just one more question....
