❤ YOUR MUSE DECLARING LOVE FOR MINE 

A few days had passed since Kai received some disturbing emails from Kyouju that a new threat has entered the beyblading world and begged for him and Takao to return to Japan and help them out, knowing that he and the world champion couldn’t say no to their teammate, so  the two went straight to the airport and now waited for the next flight that would take them back to their home. 

While the older blader waited to hear the announcement to tell the people who were waiting to get on the airplane to say they can now aboard it, he found himself checking his phone every so often to see if he had any new messages from Kyoujyu, but when he saw there was none he slid it back into the pocket of his long coat and stared out the window looking up at the gloomy grey clouds that were beginning to form, while his eyes also drifted to see how Takao was taking the news of a new enemy appearing, only a year after taking the bega league down.

As the older blader continued being lost in his thoughts, he was quickly snapped out of them when he heard an announcement telling the people at the airport that some flights will be delayed from an approaching storm.“Damn…it.” Kai hissed then turned away from the window so he could ask the world champion if he wanted to stay and wait for the storm out at the airport or get a hotel room for the night. But when he looked at the other, Kai noticed that Takao seemed to have something heavy on his mind and picked up the duffle bag by his feet and walked towards him.“Kinomiya…” he said in a loud enough voice so the other could hear him.“Do you want to just stick around here for the night or go back to the hotel?” he asked but wasn’t long pausing and reaching into his coat pocket once more when he felt his phone alerted him that he had a new message.

Once the phone was in his hands Kai swiped the phone to see that it was a message from Hiromi this time asking where they were. Feeling a little annoyed that everyone seemed to be texting him and not the world champion, he released an annoyed sigh and turned to Takao to ask him on why he was the only one getting messages, but suddenly he noticed that the other seemed to be trying to think on something to say, and just as he saw Takao part his lips another loud announcement came on to say two more flights were canceled, making Kai miss on what the other tried saying to him.“Can you repeat that Kinomiya? I couldn’t hear you over the announcements…” he asked.

But once Kai heard what Takao was trying to say to him moments ago, his eyes grew wide with shock and he almost dropped the phone in his hand.“You…what?” the blader asked hoping that the world champion would repeat himself so he would know if he heard his teammate correctly or not.

It was early morning as Kai stepped inside of the B.B.A training facility to get some training in before the room becomes crowded, as the blader walked down the halls of the second floor, his ears picked up on some familiar voices talking in a room close by. Normally Kai would mind his own business and not eavesdrop on his teammate’s conversation, but for some reason, Takao seemed really upset about what was being said. Slowly he walked to the room and leaned his back against the wall and listened through the half-opened door, but making sure not to be spotted.

As the blader listened in he could hear Rei and Max telling him that they were leaving to take part in the tag team tournament on separate teams once again, and not long after Kai could hear the sound of his now x-teammates footsteps coming towards the exit. When he heard the door opening he crossed his arms and closed his eyes so he wouldn’t have to make eye contact with them as they passed by. Even though the older blader heard their steps stop in front of where he stood, his eyes remained shut and he didn’t open them until they begin walking again, all he could see was their backsides moving farther and farther away.

Once the two were out of sight Kai released a light sigh then pushed away from the wall, with his arms dropping to their sides. When the blader entered the room he expected to see Hiromi and Kyouju, but the world champion seemed to be all alone in the room. he couldn’t help but lower his eyebrows as he noticed tears falling down his cheeks.“Kinomiya…” Kai said silently to himself before making his way towards Takao as his lips parted.“ Listen…Kinomiya…we don’t need them…we can win this tournament on our own.” he told the other while kneeling down to the floor in front of the world champion and raised his hand up to wipe the tears that streamed down the other’s face, these were the closest words he could tell his teammate that he didn’t plan on going anywhere this time.

It was a late evening as Kai walked the snowy streets of Alaska with a sheet of paper in his hand. while the other was holding onto the strap of his travel bag, he and Takao had just left the airport and they were now following the directions that someone at the front desk had given them.

With the older blader’s attention focused on the directions and his back turned to the world champion, he had no idea that the other was preparing to throw a snowball at him until he felt it hit him on the back. Quickly an annoyed expression wasn’t long appearing on his face and he turned towards the other telling him that they had no time to play his little game because they had to meet the rest of the team who already arrived ahead of them.

“Kinomiya…would you stop playing games we don’t have time for you to be playing around with the snow…” he said then turned back so he could focus on what the directions said where to turn next.

But after a while when Kai spotted that they were close to their hotel, he placed the piece of paper in his long black coat, and placed his hand on the rail of some stairs they were walking down and bunched up some snow in his hand and once Takao was ahead of him, he threw a small snowball at the world champion’s head and watched as it landed on his shoulders and in the other’s coat.
