I learned a lot of awesome, fun things today in German class. Here are the top favs:

1. Punctuation/pronunciation can mean the difference between schwüll (humid) and schwull (gay) or scheide (vagina) and schade (pity).

2. Scheißkerl (shit guy) is an excellent insult and one I will be using ALL THE TIME NOW!

3. Der Müll means "the trash" and now I can make shitposts in German.

4. Verpiss dich! (piss off) is a useful phrase and one I will gladly employ in all manner of situations!

An Awkward Situation with Tokio Hotel and German Class

So I have this friend who I once decided to share my love of Tokio Hotel with and since then he's been a total douche about it and he just LOVES to make fun of me and whenever Frau M would play their music (all the older stuff) he'd turn to me and be all "IT'S KAYTLIN'S HUSBAND, BILL GAYLITZ" or he'd call them "Tokio Fag-tel" -_-. The thing is, He is kidding... He even likes some of their songs. But it's still mean and I wish he'd stop

SO TODAY

Frau Played Spring Nicht, Heilig, and Reden. When Reden came on, He(the friend) was like "Hey Frau, what is this? It sounds like German Nickelback" (aka, crappy, because he hates Nickelback) 

Frau said "Oh, Tokio Hotel. Kinda girly, not really your type" 

Then, He turned around and said "OH, REALLY?" and pointed at me and laughed, then I, thinking that Devin DID know it was them and was just trying to mock me, said "YOU JERK I'LL PUNCH YOU IN THE FACE" (in a joking manner) 

Then Frau goes "OH, SORRY ILJA. Umm. I mean. THEY'RE CUTE. HE'S CUTE." (talking about Bill)

And i said "NO FRAU IT'S FINE, IT'S JUST DEVIN IS TRYING TO MAKE FUN OF ME"

Then this kid who knows about them but doesn't know them that well said "THIS IS TOKIO HOTEL? WHAT?"

Then the whole freaking class erupted and was all:

"WHO's THIS? WHAT ABOUT TOKYO? WHAT ABOUT HOTELS IN TOKYO? WHY ARE WE TALKING ABOUT JAPAN? THIS IS GERMAN CLASS GUIZE"

Me: *facepalm*

I got all red and embarrassed xD

But it was the funniest thing ever. The whole class was talking about Tokio Hotel then, because the friend, the other friend, and I were explaining to all the confused kids what Tokio Hotel was xD
