Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum
MODE is pleased to have begun working with our new friends at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum in New York City. The USS Intrepid is a decommissioned WWII aircraft carrier docked on the west side of Manhattan, and now serves as home to historical exhibits and an impressive collection of military and commercial aircraft and memorabilia.
Our first initiative was the development of collateral to support the museum’s Seats of Honor campaign. This incredible program commemorates the service of former crew members as well as other members of the military with engraved plaques on the seats in the museum’s Allison and Howard Lutnick Theater. We were inspired by their incredible archive of photography dating back to the ship’s construction in WWII. Staying true to the historic and beautiful photography, we highlighted authentic moments of life on the Intrepid that illustrated the sentimental attitude with which the former crew members regarded their ship. We wish the Intrepid Museum luck with this campaign and look forward to future collaborations.
