Life update!! So I have one week left in Sydney, I've been here for almost three months and it has been fun for sure. But I recieved deverstating news on Sunday that my work at Cirque du Soleil was NOT allowing me to continue on with them to the city which is Melbourne. It's been a really upsetting experience because of several reasons. Mainly because I waited almost 2 years for the circus to return to Australia so that I could join the tour once more... And I moved from Adelaide to Sydney for the job in the hope that I would at least be allowed to continue on to at least the next city it not all of the cities. Another reason for my deverstation is the people that they ARE TAKING! Because out of the six people from my department that are going to Melbourne, Three are really good workers and three in my opinion are NOT!! So does that make me worse workers then them? Probably not but what it does mean is WORK POLITICS are majorly in play. Which I usually try and stay out of because I usually get hurt. So I put my head down and just worked as hard as I could but appriently that means jack shit to these people. I have one week left of work and yesterday I went back for the first time since learning the crappy news and it was really emotionally tough. I didn't want to be there!! And a lost of people were giving me sympathy which is great but they cant possibly understand how crushed I truely am... and everytime I started talking about it I was always on the brink of tears. I'm really not sure how I'm going t survive a week of looking the supervisors in the face when I know it is their fault that my current dream is crushed. I don't know how to reach to what has happened to me and more importantly move on because I have amazing plans for this year reguadless but Ijust cant see the silver linning just yet.
