Aaaah, how those nice new year’s dev plans seemed all glittery and promising just a few weeks ago...I’d love to paint a rosy picture of our progress on the new iteration of our iOS app is going, but I’m finding it hard to find my words, what with our CTO constantly banging her head against her laptop!
So here’s a quick status check of what we’re preparing, for your enjoyment commiseration:
Facebook challenges: who knew it would be so difficult to get an app to tag you on Facebook? Luckily, FB came up with this update in January. Unfortunately, everyone’s struggling to figure out how it works...
Ever tried migrating files from Github to AWS from a travel-worn, 4yo Macbook Pro? Ever tried getting technical support in Greek? Don’t ask...and more importantly, don’t mention it to Areti, especially given that her shiny new desktop Mac is patiently waiting for her in SF...
It’s also best to leave the words “dynamic”, “copy” and “dependencies” out if you’re planning on talking to Raph while he finishes the user journey from sign-up to challenge...
Actually, while you’re at it, don’t mention Django, Cocoapods, tokens, or...scrap that, if you want to avoid meeting a bear with a toothache, just please keep your distance from the CliqStart animals until we emerge from dev hell!
