I was (and am still?) Team Ben but damn if Des and Devi weren’t wasted potential 😭 the ONE time we see a desi guy and a desi girl dating and being happy together on television it’s RUINED BY THE GUY’S MOM this completely checks out honestly

Favorite moments from Never Have I Ever S3, in no particular order: 4/?
I may not ship it, but I can't deny it, this was gorgeous.
Well, this was the worst thing I’ve read today
Idk why I suddenly got the need to say this but Devi and Des, as a romantic relationship, was one of the most boring, time-wasting, bland, unimportant things I've seen in this whole show.
And the biggest issue was just how much space it stole from the established characters and the plot. I get wanting representation but they could've made it a hookup or at least somewhat interesting for the time it took away from everything. Not a single second of them interested me. At all.
I'm assuming the same thing will happen with Ethan. I like Mindy Kaling but I wish she didn't constantly use boring side characters to create drama/conflict for the main couple. It's so boring and tired.
Yet another hit indian character who was nice, fresh and HOT that Mindy Kaling has written off in favor for the honestly average and boring white male interest?!?
anyway rip Des he would've loved to hear about Shrubland
