Did a character redesign for a contest on Deviantart for MewSkylar! I had a lot of fun with this and I think she ended up looking pretty cute <3

But now, the world has changed. We are farmers, townsfolk, knights, and lords. We have reclaimed the earth for ourselves. 

But today, I shall present to you a relic from the past. An ancient practise as old as the earth itself, yet lost to time among the ruins of civilisation. I give you - the magic of Mathematics!”

The world has changed. After the bombs fell and scoured the Earth’s surface for aeons, humanity was forced to hide underground. Generations passed in silence. The youngest of them had no concept of any other life at all. But, when the nuclear winter abated and the bunkers automatically opened, people started to pick up the pieces of where they left off. 

Although most of Anshula’s peers are humble subsistence farmers, she had always wanted more. Picking through the remains of the old world, she sometimes found trinkets and mysterious objects to display in little travelling shows. Her whole world was changed, though, by the discovery of the Relic. It opened her eyes to the magical, lost art of GCSE Mathematics, and her shows grew more and more fantastic as she regailed her audiences with mysterious writings, precisely calculating the length of rooms and angles of thrown projectiles. It was wizardry beyond imagining, and she was the caster.

The feline dancer, as she is known, dances and performs acrobatics with her aerial hoop. From her public, she chooses her victims, enchanting them, turn them in love minions and doing anything she wants. Of her victims she prefers to take items of value, such as jewelry and money.

I contacted them to ask if posting on my blog was considered as released and they said yes since it would have been somewhere else than in the actual contest. Even if you sent them first and then posted it here or any other blog

I say just wait. the 25 semi-finalists will be known the 8th and the winners the 15th.

 If you don’t make it, publish it then, if you make it wow! congrats! and at least you didn't got disqualified for that. The art ive seen is amazing and I dont anyone to miss an opportunity.
