    HE agreed to the event because it was an opportunity he couldn’t miss and it was a position he couldn’t say no too. He could do it like no other. He can still hold his PRIDE and EGO even if he were to win or lose this match. He agreed to the event to see the true heart of wrestling. Men who he had seen in the past– n e w and i m p r o v e d. It hasn’t even been too long yet it feels like it’s been a century since he’s been in a New Japan ring. Time ticking by him and he can no longer keep track. He doesn’t know if that’s a good thing or not.  A good thing he had moved on but there’s a spike of concern and worry. Even for the little things. FONDNESS is another feeling, he thinks that surrounds his belly. Good wrestling– Probably being watched by many all around the world. It’s what he always wanted. For wrestling to be a universal language. Something everyone can enjoy.

He means– He’s enjoying it at least.

    His fingers wanders about the screen, clicking and tapping but his fingers hang still as soon as he reads the name K/e/n/n/y O/m/e/g/a in his contacts. Did he change his number? Did he BLOCK him? Or DELETE him? Or is he still in his contacts? Does he hesitate before breezing past his name?

He prefers if he was blocked, if he were to be honest.

    He’ll also like to say it doesn’t matter but it does– OH, his chest is squeezing and yes, he could just go up to him but things with them were no longer easy. Things just weren’t smiles anymore. Rather somber if he thought about it too hard. Sitting in the locker room– surely he’ll be seeing him soon enough. 

Soon enough arrives too quick.

    He fiddles with the mask for a few moments, eyes DAZED and LOST for a moment before a smile drifted onto his face. A soft smile, a toothy grin if he were to be honest and he can feel the pride bloom in his chest. It twinkles and butterflies roam his stomach before his hands smacked one another. A clap. ❝ You did amazing. I’m proud of you. ❞  I’m happy for you too, y’know? Words that never meet his lips before he stood up. How could he stay in the same room with the blonde? It’s not for his sanity, it’s for the G1 Climax Winner. He tilts his head downward, somewhat of a bow of respect.
