To me, all games are holy to the Devil, especially those involving cards and dice, not because of some alleged ancient magical lineage they have (though they are old) but because games exist primarily for pleasure. Like yes there’s the folklore about him and gambling games specifically but I feel that the risk taking factor can also be a source of enjoyment when circumstances are right.
For example, one time me and my folks were playing Yahtzee and as dad was shaking his dice, he asked me casually what god of gambling he could pray to in order to win. I think I told him something along the lines of, “The Devil’s not a bad choice.” Always one for the bit Dad rolled while yelling “HAIL SATAN” and immediately rolled all sixes.
I think humor is also sacred to Satan.
