I agree with you so much on that one post about people wanting more queer villains cause I hate the way people talk about hating those “cringey fluffy gay slice of life” shows, like wow you’re so edgy for that I guess??

TRULY!! Like okay it's not your thing that's fine. It just *existing* isn't a threat to you!!!

Also like. If you mean you want more nuanced, complex, well written queer characters, or queer characters in media aimed at adults, or queer characters with more dramatic stories, or something, okay you can say that. We have words for that! But the way people are talking it really sounds like they just want more homophobic media. Queer people always being villains and monsters being allegories/metaphors/standins for queerness/queer people was BORN OUT OF HOMOPHOBIA. Vampires don't need to be inherently queer actually

Also uh. I feel like people forgot that like. A) indie stuff still exists and B) Chinese/Korean/Japanese stuff exists? There's so many messy dramas and novels and comics and stuff from those countries. SO many

Anywho I personally won't be happy until goody two shoes queer characters stop popping up in all media. Because there's already so many queer villains and I don't want being queer to be equated with monsterousness anymore actually

Idk what’s up with the anti-TERF association account but I’ve seen speculation it’s a troll based off the “Jigsaw” like messages the account is sending to TERFs accounts which only gets them mocked
