given you guys have had devil's candy in mind to do for years, i was curious why you guys held off on it for so long? was it a lack of time, resources, etc, or did you want to polish your art/writing abilities, or something else? (i'm really enjoying the comic by the way; i'm glad i found it!)
We’ve pitched a number of titles to different publishers over the years, but never found the right fit (the first chapter of DC is actually a reworked pitch for a one shot). Starting a webcomic involves a lot of work for little to no returns, so a lot of external factors had to fall into place before we could even consider tackling it.
On a side note, some of our unpublished projects that were made between Devil’s Candy and, uh...the new Devil’s Candy may yet see the light of day.
