I actually have an incredible resentment against that face claim simply because he is the one that my muses are CONSTANTLY dropped for and so interaction with anyone using that fc is extremely difficult because all I feel is replaced. And you're right, writing isn't cared about that much when it's ohhh look, shiny actor we all adore. Even browsing through the open rp tag you see a lot of the same fcs being used over and over. I'm worried about what will happen when Chris Pratt makes it big because not only have I liked him across the years but there's a lot of hometown pride so it's like, uhg.
You remember how much trouble I had getting Valdar out there and then Daríus picked up some, but not a lot. People just won't give me a chance at all because my muses have fcs that they don't know (or don't find attractive which is a really stupid reason to NOT interact with someone because who the hell says that you HAVE to be in a romantic ship with EVERY muse?) and so few are willing to take the time to get to know the characters that I have created. So it hurts a great deal. You're one of my favourite rp partners because you do actually write and you inspire my imagination. I'd love to interact with any muse that you have present.
