I love how all that options still pointing to Cloti. Aerith said how CLoud's feelings to her arent real after she realized to whom he give the flowers to. Barret talk about TIfa which gained Cloud's attention.
Yeah, all the optional scenes in the flowers all point to cloti. Aerith says Cloud’s feelings for her wouldn’t be real as she knows he loves Tifa, also hinting at the lifestream scene with Tifa and Cloud later in the game where we see what’s in his literal mind/heart/soul whatever you want to call it. Tifa’s scene has an emotional embrace where Cloud gets so lost in the moment he doesn’t notice she stopped crying or that he’s squeezing her, I love his soft little “hah....” when she goes “Cloud...” the hug also foreshadows the lifestream scene of Cloud and Tifa reuniting in the true sense. Barret’s scene I love, I’d like to see the characters he was talking about, but even in Barret’s scene Cloud suddenly whips to attention the moment he finds out some other guy tried to give Tifa flowers, and how smug he looks when he learns Tifa rejected the guy but accepted Cloud’s flower.
