Hi yes hello!!! Wyll amd Devour's relationship is actually pretty sweet to me.

So, Multi knows this but I'm not actually very far in bg3 soooooooo this is all based on the game until right after saving Halsin/first entering the underdark.

ANYWAYS

So Devour and Wyll actually didn't get along at all at first. The smaller and younger tiefling is very naive from their secluded upbringing at a distant temple. They didn't see anything wrong with continuing to push Wyll (or anyone) for information and answers.

This was never in an aggressive manner, more like a curious child asking a million questions.

As they moved to save the grove the group collected Karlach. After some talks with the other tiefling (and seeing Wyll's patron) Devour moved to apologize and make amends.

After that the two spent many evenings talking, Wyll helping Devour with a much more gentle hand on when they were pushing too far with their questions.

Their ship name, Devils Dance, comes from the tiefling party and the joke Wyll makes about dancing. I imagine that while they do go meet Gale later, they take the time to have a small dance with him because they refuse to let him be by himself.

After which, the two often dance in camp, especially when one is feeling out of sorts. They talk and move in circles. By the end, they're fully spinning out and dipping and laughing.

I do think at times people wonder if they're in a qpr or if they are familial, but they're more between Platonic and qpr. They often tell each other how much they mean to one another (and will probably say Platonic I love yous in the future), cuddle, and sometimes even share a bedroll.

As a side note, if they're goofing off with the dancing Karlach 100% joins in but Wyll and Devour are known as the group's dancing Devils (affectionately said)
