Devil's Thumb
I've posted these before, but wanted to get them up alongside the Great Divide photographs of the last month. The top photograph was made in the summer of 1999, while the bottom one was made fourteen years prior, in 1985.
Both were made at the top of Devil's Thumb pass, north of Rollins Pass—which has a relationship to Moffat Tunnel, seen in the recent color series as well as here below.
This last photograph was also made in the summer of 1999. Three images by Richard Koenig.
