Daydreaming the day away
Did my version of Doris and @deviousmxnds's Edgar

HE WAS TRYING TO RIZZ HER UP, AND GIVE HER THE BEDROOMS EYES FROM THE LION KING-- and she was almost too dense to even pick up on it. For all she knew, he was just trying to be friendly and cheer her up from the allegations that she was specist. But-- from what she knew about humans, and their previous conversation, she could assume this was flirting. BUT ASKING IF HE WAS FLIRTING WOULD RUIN THE MOOD--
"T'ank ye. doctor. It warms meh chest tae know ah doon't come across as some monster supremacy zealot." One of her extra hands joined his on her lower shoulder.
"Are ye-- is tis cheering meh up? Human flirting, some ferm o' flttery or solidarity? Ah truly cannae tell..."

Otis's head turned slowly as he took in the office's interior, the rat in his belt pouch content to rest with her head out in the open air. It was fancy enough that he felt completely out of place there– certainly nicer than his parents' place used to be (a reminder that brought him a bit of satisfaction).
He'd made sure he and his clothes were clean before coming up, but he still sat hunched on the very edge of his seat like he was ready to jump to his feet at a second's notice. His hood was down, revealing a wild nest of dark ginger hair, but his mask would remain until he felt comfortable enough to take it off– until he knew his questions would be accepted openly.
"Thanks for agreeing to see me," he started. "I'll try not to take long, I just had a few questions about your powers, like… what all you can do as a psychic."

"Get out of my head, Psycho!"

Like snow, Mary thought but didn't say, when the first flakes of ash hit her hair, her shoulders, her palms turned upward as if in supplication to the night. The emergency vehicles painted them both red-blue intermittently but it was as if, on the pavement with the snow-slush still melting in the gutter and the smell of smoke thick in their lungs, that they had been spirited away somehow, forgotten by the swarming figures.
"It'll burn for hours." Even now, with the ghost of the framework peering black through the flames across the street, the fire was hot enough that she could feel it prickling the backs of her arms. "They always do. Old buildings, cheap materials." Her gaze flicks down to the storm drain as a firefighter stumbles back off the kerb. "And by tomorrow it'll be in the water supply."
Gothamites, sipping on asbestos, plastic and tar.
Overhead, skyscrapers stared down at them like the blank, black sides of cliff faces, all smooth glass and sheer metal "...I used to be able to see things like this from my bedroom windows as a kid."
"In that case, I'll do my level best. If you don't like who you see, tell me. We'll re-evaluate until this is perfect for you." Customer Satisfaction was one of the four pillars her business was built off of. And yes, satisfaction did have multiple meanings in this instance.
The feeling of his hands atop hers is barely registered. The tactile sensation of @deviousmxnds' hands sends her adrift, casts Beatrice out from her own form, into the ever-loving cosmos, that another might take up position where once she sat.
The change is instantaneous, the feedback is dampened considerably if only to not sour the moment... but the response that follows is one of immediate removal of contact. Her powerful hands are wrenched away, even as she leans forward in her seat. Metals, leathers and weapons rattling, creaking and rumbling against the office chair as she closes in on this... man. This man that called her here, even without ever saying her name.
"I don't need my lasso to know that you're lying to me. I wouldn't be here if I weren't on your mind. So I invite you to speak it, before the opportunity passes."
This character was easy. She may not have much practice, but her little sister did, and that would have to be enough with such little lead in.

‘Where the hell am I?” Pete question when he walks around the area that he wasn’t familiar with then noticed a human that has black hair so he starts marching his direction with his hands being placed on his hips
“Hey chum, mind telling me what the hell is this place?”
