     ❛ Scared? ❜ Cocky smirk drew across his lips. Calling a name? He doubted that they were tucked away in the Terrible Trios hideaway and as far as the trick-or-treater knew they were alone. No one knew they were there and apart from his duo no one knew where it was... at least he thought. It was seconds after his comment but his hand darted down to the slingshot on his belt - earlier he dismissed it as the creaking of the roof but that slow - old creak had sounded again. Footsteps. ❛ Expecting anyone? ❜ He questioned backing over towards her, drawing his slingshot up. As much as he loved a bit of chaos he didn’t like the unknown, it was the Isle it could be anyone coming and considering some of his enemies he wouldn’t like to take a guess at who.

         "Of course not." Rita couldn't help but scoff, though everything in her resembled a bow; drawn tight and ready to launch. When she heard the sound again, her head shot back, eyes intent as she slid a metal shiv from between the couch cushions. " nobody should know I'm here. " 

          Already a weight had dropped into her stomach, and she rounded her thumb over her small blade. Sykes boys had been sniffing around her again, but would they dare come this far? Maybe, if her Pops had messed up again.
