General Observation #4

Why is the Devon Corporation building so freaking cool? It looks like a cathedral! I always loved the doors in particular, since it's a double doorway with no actual door in the frame. Like, what office building would have that? 😂

Then we finally reached Rustboro. The second city of our journey with a gym in it.

But the first gym we can actually challenge, because dad is afraid of his little girl. Says he will fight me, when I have four badges.

Just watch me get those badges in no time, old man, and then I'm gonna beat your sorry behind.

For the time being, here is the first gym leader who isn't a prick and actually wants to give me a chance to win my badge.

Her combination of Nosepass and the move Rock Tomb was not bad. I needed several potions to come out victorious.

Now it would have been nice to already have access to Magical Leaf, but Ezri would have been way over leveled by then. So I'm glad we could do it without.

When I left the gym, I saw someone familiar running across the street. Followed by another familiar face.

It seems like the Devon employee has gotten his parcel stolen again. He asks me to help, again.

Oh, well, here we go.
