THE LOVE THAT WOULD NOT DIE Saturday, November 5, 2016 w/ Heironymous Bogs 8PM $5 PUPPETS SHOOTING FLAMETHROWERS?!!! The Love That Would Not Die is a futuristic tale about letting go of the past. Zombie apocalypse survivor Stan, his Dog, and a mysterious time traveling Kid, must together face a new world order where anything that could happen does—including puppets shooting flamethrowers!! *Is it a family film? Sure! Everyone will love the unlikely trio of lovelorn, zombie-bashing Stan, his faithful Dog, and the loveable but untrustworthy Kid, as they unite to face a sinister new breed of singing, dancing, pop star zombies! Shot almost entirely on an iPhone on a less than zero budget, this 27-minute pilot is a DIY labor of love created by a local team of puppeteers, costume and set designers, actors, filmmakers, musicians and karaoke stars. Writer/director/puppeteer/composer Devon Hawks Ludlow, a veteran of the downtown New York performance scene, has brought together a talented team of local collaborators including production designer Brandee Caoba, puppeteers Damon and Sabrina Griffith (of local band Cloacas), costume designer Eva Ghazi, writer/producer Granville Greene, karaoke star/ singer Andy Kirkpatrick, and cinematographer Keith Ryan-Riggs. http://thehumanbeastbox.com/ https://vimeo.com/149975423 *Please, no one under 18 unaccompanied by an adult. ***************************************************************************************************** HIERONYMOUS BOGS Outsider Folk Performance Artist Hieronymus Bogs is a one-man troupe whose musical performances explore the primitive ties between music, ritual & art. http://www.hieronymusbogs.com/ and more . . .
