“margravevampire:starter call?”
The first thing he needs to discover is this, why is there a unknown being appearing right in his front yard. The undead , they do not wake, as if scared. Thats impossible, they do not get scared unless someone stronger than their own master appears. This does not bode well at all.
“What is going on here!” He rasps, fine leather boots touching the ground after he had jumped from the 2nd floor balcony to see closer the phenomenon. There were no undead anymore who he did not know, their race so decimated, the ones capable of thought were so rare that he knew, that this was not a person that he knows.
All he could do is wait. One hand drifting towards the crossbow at his side capable of mass explosions...
@devoratrix ~ permanent starter call
Welp, he can’t prove that this guy is going to do anything ‘evil’. But Ben took one look at him -- and everything about him just screamed villainous alien. Naturally, there’s only one thing he can do.
Narrowing his eyes, the boy hovered his hand over the watch that gave him his powers. “Gimme one good reason not to kick your butt into space.”

She frowns, and tucks a stack of papers beneath her arm with mechanical, silent movements. Ugh, she wouldn’t put up with this man if it weren’t for the fact that Gill had ordered her to do so- otherwise, she’d rather not get within a couple hundred feet of him.. His attitude was annoying, unprofessional, and irritatingly cocky, even if he was rather suave about it.
“...Don’t call me that, Lord Jedah. It is not your right.”
@devoratrix. cont. from here
She frequently turns to books and history for her own entertainment, but just reading about it isn’t nearly as exciting as hearing it straight from a man who saw it with his own two eyes. History was easily distorted depending on who was telling it, but she, at least, trusted Jedah to tell the truth. He hadn’t the lack of dignity to lie about it, after all.
She climbs up onto a table in order to be closer to Jedah’s own eye level. She was nowhere near it on her own, and she wouldn’t be able to listen intently if she was so low. So she crosses her legs on the tabletop, hands folded in the lap of her skirt as she leans forward ever so slightly. “Can you tell me about where you came from? Not the Makai, but the human world. Back then, that is.”
Her tone is quiet as ever, but there’s a little hint of excitement at the end of her sentences- not quite a question, simply because of her inability to muster up the vocal enthusiasm to make it sound like one, but it’s ever so slightly audible. That’s better than nothing for her.
“Wouldn’t it be grand?”
“That’s subjective.” He has his arms crossed, (if such a crude weapon could be called an arm,) attitude just as aloof and hostile as usual. Aside from such an oddly optimistic statement, this thing was definitely not human- and definitely not a robot, either. At least, not any kind he’s seen. Frankly, if his model was going to be replaced by this demonic looking behemoth, he’d accept his end.
“Why do you care anyways? What does it matter to you? You don’t belong here. It’s not hard to see.” Not in this city, not in this wasteland, definitely not of this planet. And not wondering about the benefits of freeing humanity.
