It was a complicated situation to say the least. Here he stood, stranded, clapped in silver cuffs. The small chain connecting what bound him was looped around an adjacent rail. It meant he could slide it for several paces but both ends were blocked by thick vertical poles. Obviously he wouldn’t be retreating to any safety any time soon.

How he had come to be there was a matter he wasn’t inclined to discuss. Some of Riku’s teammates, claiming to act on best intentions, had scurried away to presumably find his little brother and issue the same fate. Perhaps they’d be forced to stand and talk for a time? The way he imagined it all that would happen would be extended uncomfortable silence. Thinking about it turned his stomach. He didn’t want to cause more trouble.

Yet the person who had come for him was not his brother but Kyosuke. It occurred to him that this might be coincidence, not pity, but there were precious few options left to him. He would have to ask.

After revealing the truth to his team mates, Honan Stride Club Captain Hasekura Heath has decided it was his responsibility to speak to Kyousuke and finally close the chapter on that incident that robbed his friend of his place. Heath still felt guilty for all that happened, even if he understood why he did it. He had let him walk away and almost payed the price of their club disbanding. He owed it to him amongst other things, and it was this belief that led him to seek out his old team mate and friend.

He knew exactly where to find him, and as he approached he felt his body tense with a sudden unease. What if he was unable to convince him to return? Literally the fate of the club was in his hands, but he couldn’t let that deter him.  He would do this, for the club, for his friend and for himself.

As Kyousuke turned and saw him approaching, Heath smiled warmly at him, his hazel eyes met his as he drew nearer “I knew I would find you here Kyousuke...” he stopped in front of the other, giving a slight not of his head. “I’m sorry about the first years approaching you.  They mean well, but.... I feel as if this is best said by me....” he pauses a moment as if pondering over his words. “And though you probably already know why I am here...I want to ask you to return to the team Kyousuke.” His features were drawn in such sincerity and pent up emotions that had resided inside of him since Kyousuke had left and he knew it was best to just get it all out in the open.
