And that's one!
JUMPS what do u think happens when gems revert back into their gems i.e. kind of die but not really. like are they still conscious?? tell me leans on hands
Well! When Pearl first exits from her gem she manages a "Ahhh that's much better." Which to me gives off that she didn't see herself while in the gem, or didn't have any sort of "body" so to say. To be honest when I first saw the episode, I compared to a pokeball.
I feel like inside the gem they are still conscious, mostly because I headcanon the gem to hold their conscious in general, and she designed herself a sweet new outfit. (Even though the sash only has one loop and isn't a proper bow. C'mon Pearl.) SHe probably had some semblance of time passing as well.
OK SO as someone who is generally interested in the series but has no flipping feck what its about, can you give me a general synopsis? `o`
LORD... I CAN TRY... no matter how many times i'm asked to do this, it never gets easier, but here we go!
the story's beginning follows a young traveler named aladdin as he searches the world for answers about who he is and what it means to be a magi. the truth he eventually learns is much more than he could have imagined, and discovering it leaves him with a great task to accomplish: that is, he and his allies must defeat those who try to reverse fate and plunge the world into darkness.
that's probably the best i can do for a really general synopsis for now. it's really good, though! i think it's technically classed as a "shounen," but it differs from typical shounens in a lot of ways that i personally enjoy. for example - it isn't fight scene after fight scene after fight scene. there are battles, yes, but they're hardly every episode or chapter. there's buildup to them, reasons behind them (besides "I wanna be the very best," as is typical in most shounens), and things do go horribly, terribly wrong. it isn't "oh, the protagonists will always win" because lemme tell you, shit is going down right now and i fully expect people to die. and so far, no one has been brought back to life with cheap tricks (coughs at marvel - i love you, but please).
I COULD TALK ABOUT MAGI FOREVER, BUT IF YOU'RE INTERESTED, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE CONSIDER WATCHING OR READING IT.
You can watch Magi here! It's also on Hulu Plus and Netflix.
Or you can read Magi here!
12 - 15 ! `v`
12) Name a physical trait your character really likes in others.
Curves, oddly enough. If he sees someone and perceives them as being emaciated, he does get very concerned... Then again, considering his people naturally build up healthy fat stores and the more they have about the middle, the better off they are, that's a natural conclusion.
13) How would your character act with another person in their bed?
First off, getting to Snowdrift's bed is an easy task - he'll gladly give it up and sleep on the couch if a guest insists on staying the night. Having him occupy that bed at the same time as that person is very difficult. Unless he truly trusts the other person, it's just not going to happen.
14) What’s something that your character’s really into that others might not expect?
The motions of ballroom dance are something he passively keeps in mind. There are a few Pandaren folk dances similar to human conventions, and keeping good footwork also keeps the mind alert.
15) Name a physical trait your character has that they’re embarrassed about.
He's concerned in particular about a very ugly scar underneath the left side of his chest, just above where his belly begins and tucked right where his chest ends. He's not sure how other people would react to it, so he's definitely not eager to reveal that wound.
