May I introduce to you, project atmos
"Welcome to Project Atmosphere!
Project Atmos is a project by G+ users to create a brand new social media platform, not only for us to move to, but for anyone from any site to move to.
We are making the website from scratch, and have plenty of features planned for you guys.
You can stay for announcements on the project, to contribute ideas or mascot art, or just to talk to other members and the developers!
We hope you enjoy your visit!

Project atmos is really cool! To see the g+ community doing somthing like this in spite of the closure is amazing. They DESPERATELY need reliable people willing to volunteer time to help code everything. They plan to have a beta out a week or two before april, in line with the new closure time, so that they can give a place for people to migrate to.
They have planned
-collections [like, folders but for ur blog posts]
-communities [similar to fb groups]
-possibly coloured text & html text
-website as well as app for IOS & android
-it's mother fucking SPACE THEMED
I've personally done somthing for it already in light to help! These are their mascots, Apollo & Lakia! It might not be a used asset but it's definitely a concept they are looking into
Lakia has a twitter where they post the fanart!
They are also trying to find ways to fund their project in the long term & short term.
The people working on it have been very nice & responsive so far to everything I've asked about the project! (They especially liked the drawing I did)
I highly suggest that you check them out! It's a neeto project that I'm going to stand behind & help out!
