( …now, i dont know if this one counts, because i DID make a blog for her at one point, but i never actually did anything with it….so i guess she counts. ANYWAY!

night!! nightie night. nightmare. nightlight. the love of my fcking lIFE- ok thats enough. this is night! shes my nonfandom oc! shes this angel-like entity that are called aethiars, and shes basically the ex captain of their royal guard. lets just say the queen of the aethiars went off the goddamn rails and now night lives in this huge library with her new (adopted) family! ive always wanted to roleplay her and my other ocs, or maybe even write a novel on them. dont know if ill ever get to though. )

If your muse could feel the emotional pain of the people they hurt, would this deter their villainous behavior?

If somehow Xemnas managed to gain empathetic powers and could feel the suffering he’s inflicted on his victims, I get the feeling the answer would be a hard yes. He’s not the kind of man who can handle his emotions very well. The one line that has him condemning the heart the moment he feels pain is enough of evidence to lend credence to this claim. 

It makes sense, his entire existence he’s never had to deal with grief or sorrow or anything close to it. Hell even the memories he has from Terra and Xehanort wouldn’t be enough to give him any sort of healthy coping mechanisms since Terra doesn’t seem like the kind of person who had to deal with a lot of turmoil in his life ( and let’s face it, the moment he was inflicted with self-doubt it led him straight into Xehanort’s arms ) and yeah I can’t say Xehanort’s the type to have very healthy anythings at all. 

The thing I want to stress here isn’t that he’d stop being a villain due to having some sort of road to Damascus experience. Xemnas wouldn’t suddenly be plagued by regrets and guilt for what he did since honestly, he’s wouldn’t care about hurting strangers. Why would he? They mean nothing to him. There’d be nothing altruistic about him choosing to stop since his reasons are entirely selfish as he’s a coward when it comes to the matters of his own heart. So if he could somehow find a way to achieve his goal while avoiding pain? You bet he’d go for that option.

»― 🍃   to say that vexa didn’t talk to the other organization XIII members was an understatement. she avoided them like they were a disease, making up every excuse she could and only breaking her one rule when absolutely necessary. that’s why, when she had found a not yet occupied room in the castle that never was, she claimed it as her own and didn’t allow anyone inside besides herself. it wasn’t very large; enough to fit a table and a hammock. oh, and plants. so, so many plants. her back was turned to the door as she flipped through a large tome. pictures of plants littered the pages, complete with a name and a description. “come on, come on,” she muttered under her breath, frustrated. “you’ve gotta be in here somewhere...”

»― 🍃   the sound of a door creaking caught her attention, her pointed ears twitching. in a one quick motion, she snapped the tome closed and summoned nature’s blessing, throwing one of the sickles at the door entrance. it missed it’s target and lodged itself into the door frame. vexa narrowed her eyes at xaira and turned back around, opening her tome again. “what do you want?”

»― 🍃   the matriarch of nature squirmed under xaira, her nose scrunched up in annoyance. what was originally supposed to be a quick nap in the grey room was turning into one annoying afternoon. she could never get two seconds of peace in this place, could she? 

»― 🍃   “get OFF!!” she whined, trying to push her off. “you’re crushing me!” vexa kept squirming for a few moments before slowly giving up, letting herself go limp. she sighed in defeat and rested her hands behind her head. “you’re so damn lucky i’m comfortable, or you’d be on the floor right now.”

»― 🍃   ah. revenge. it was always an odd concept for vexa, especially now, when she had no desire for it. she used to; she used to want to make the world pay for everything it had ever done to her, to pay for the people it had taken out of her life. but that was to be expected of a child. now she was older, more wiser. (at least she liked to think so.)

»― 🍃   “…i suppose it’s how you look at it,” she responded, finally. “revenge is complicated.” it wasn’t as easy as simply getting back at whoever wronged you. well, maybe for them it was; they couldn’t feel regret or remorse, after all. “but, hey,” vexa shrugged. “don’t let me tell you how to live your life.”
