He scratched at the two small words inked into his skin with a black marker he had found on the ground. Aurora Flowers. A polite young man worked there. According to TaeHyung’s grandmother. She frequented the shop often, loving the presence of flowers surrounding her. It was her absolute favorite shop.
He was on a run for his grandmother, picking up two dozens of tulips for her friend’s daughters who were visiting later that day. She had rushed him out of the house early before he got the chance to gulf down the rest of his creamed pancakes and orange juice just to get the flowers. It had actually made him kind of grumpy the way she chased him out so quickly, but he knew it was important if she was already that frantic at nine in the morning. She had stuffed a few bills into his hands before shutting the door on him.
If he had to be honest, TaeHyung actually found it quite cute that his grandmother was so excited from a visit from her friend and her daughters. It had also been a while since TaeHyung was actually doing something normal, considering he hadn’t been back home for about a month now. Living life as a deity wasn’t easy, especially with all the things he had to hide now.
When he finally arrived at the shop, he took a moment to observe the shop, noting escape routes- a habit of his from constantly causing trouble. He never really enjoyed the scent of flowers since all the ones he ever encountered always burned his nostrils. It wasn’t a pleasant feeling at all, so the thought of being surrounded by an entire place filled with flowers, not to mention in a closed space, didn’t fair with him very well.
As soon as TaeHyung pushed open the door, utter regret filled him for choosing to visit his granmother that day- with the exception of the hearty breakfast. The stench of flowers literally killed his sense of smell as he tried to breathe. Opening his mouth as different mean to get a breath of fresh air, he began choking upon inhaling the tainted air. He really hated flowers.
His coughs continued to bounce throughout the shop as he glared at the flowers distastefully until his eyes met with a pair of cold ones. Cold, but familiar at the same time. TaeHyung immediately questioned the man’s familiarity as he aimlessly walked around the shop, the bothersome flowers forgotten. Before he realized, while stealing glances at the man through the bunches of flowers, he was standing in front of the man at the counter.
“Huh.” TaeHyung was surprised at his own subconscious reaction of approaching the man. Quickly examining the situation in his mind, he decided he might as well strike a conversation since he was already there. He looked at the man again while absentmindedly scratching at an itch on his cheek, “"Have we met before?”
