jieun & yoongi ; who wins
He waited for the female to finish speaking, listening to her words as he stared down into his drink. He wanted to chime in that Jieun was a pretty name, or make some smooth flirtatious pickup line, but decided to be polite and hear her out. It was a bit embarrassing that she admitted that she planned on leaving the table whether he intervened or not, and the boy let out a small laugh while scratching his nose gently. “Man, you’re telling me I embarrassed myself in front of those old guys for no reason? Now I feel stupid,” Yoongi spoke, taking another drink from his glass.
She declined the drink offer, causing him to wonder if she wasn’t an alcohol person, or maybe she was just being cautious around him. He didn’t disagree with being too cautious, especially a nice girl in a bar like this. With a small smile, he leaned back in his chair and tapped his chin while he let out a hum. There were a lot of questions he could ask, but the male wanted them to be meaningful. “I guess my first question will be… what do you do for a living? And if you don’t want to answer that, tell me how you keep your complexion so perfect.” He grinned as he turned his head to look at her again. Flattery was always a strong suit of his.
These questions were going to bounce back to him, and Yoongi knew it. It wouldn’t be hard to fool her, being that deceiving others was also one of his talents. However, part of him wanted to be honest with her; he considered that she was a deity with the power to make people truthful, but discarded the idea. Otherwise, the blonde probably would have blurted out much more embarrassing things earlier. Nonetheless, he would have to deceive her until he could trust the woman, just like everyone else he’d met.
