DALLAS | Dallas woman says she killed husband because he beat the cat
DALLAS (AP) — Dallas police say a 47-year-old woman has told detectives she shot and killed her husband because he had been beating the family cat.
Authorities say Mary Harrison has been arrested and jailed on a murder charge in the slaying of her 49-year-old husband Dexter Harrison. She’s being held on $100,000 bond.
Mary Harrison told authorities that the shooting Saturday occurred during an argument. Dexter Harrison was taken to a hospital where he died.
In a statement Sunday, Dallas police say Harrison told officers that her husband had been beating the cat.
Neighbors say the family cat recently went missing, Mary Harrison had posted signs about it disappearing and the pet eventually returned.

Okay. Someone needs to say it. I mean it cleared the entire dance floor at the Sadie Hawkins dance. What was up with that kiss between Dexter and Hailie? They were practically eating each other. Who even started it!?
They almost knocked over the swan napkin display for goodness sake.
I have no idea what’s going on there. I mean clearly someone threw a whole bunch of oyster sauce in their drinks that night. We should all just be thankful they stopped and didn’t scar the children anymore than they already are scarred.
If I had to make a guess though I’d say it was Hailie. I mean come on, this is Dexter. He’s not exacter the corrupter. More the corruptee.

Selena was hanging all over Dexter at the Quisabel party. It was hilarious, but oh my god, don't you just want to hug Dexter sometimes?
Dexter is literally too precious for this world.
