What is DFC and What are its objectives?
Though the goods train is more economically viable, passenger trains always have an edge over it. It leads to hefty losses to the railways. Therefore, to tackle the situation; the ruling government designed a project which is currently under implementation its name is: DFC-Dedicated Freight Corridors. This project is carried by a company named DFCCIL-Dedicated Freight Corridors Corporate India Ltd.
