Honestly I'm curious about the sketch with the mention of lapses that DN spam experiences, like what's it like, what does DN tenna do other than the leash. (I just love me some good ole hurt/comfort ahhaah)

Your DN is so cute, so soft I love that interpretation uwu (them having possible 7 kids, GODDAMN put them in a leash— oh wait)

With lapses I mean the moments he's triggered to 'slip up' mentally –man's got a lot of shit going on still, but he's stable to DR!Spam-ish levels and the lapses are much rarer than in DN's canon. His nose bleeds because he gets so worked up and his teeth are ground so tight his jaw can dislodge itself. And like my DR!Spam, who's terrified to be let go even when his body is trying to run away, DN!Spam acts up and runs but wants to be chased and kept, since he's finally accepting and openly showing his love to Tenna, and Tenna rejecting/leaving him would be unbearable. Basically his worst moments lead to testing if Tenna will still love him like that.

(And he will. Even if both of them are too cowardly to say "I love you." Despite being married. They're both terrified that making it "real" that way will drive the other away again.)

The leash is because Tenna is So Trusting and Normal and will actually have the longest, most violent meltdown of the century if Spamton disappears with an egg. Spam's less-present self's too out of it to acknowledge the leash and take it off. At worst he chokes himself limp, not unconscious.

Once he's back to himself, Tenna pampers him –in his roundabout, awkward, attempting-to-mask-affection ways, not admitting that he was worried and wants to take care of him to make sure he recovers well. Spamton knows what he's doing but he doesn't call him out on it since he's just as afraid saying the words will take it all away.

(Every time The Crew see Spamton has another fertilized Pipis in him Tenna gets another 40 minutes of "you're the boss so we can't judge you verbally but like what the fuck man" -staring. More judgemental with each egg. Spamton is 97% of the problem.)

I really like going through your arts and feel the fluff so fluffy, then gets stabbed multiple times and shot to death.

Just a heads up because it’s very long, sorry!

Especially the one you did with Undertale au Spamton and Tenna, i expected it to hurt because you did say it’s genocide, But oh god bury me alive.

After that i had to continue to scroll for your other arts because it caused emotional damage.

Also i have a thought to offer in the detail to what Frisk will get after killing then in neutral and genocide!

Neutral of killing Spamton only:

Sans would tell Frisk that while he doesn’t read his mails, he finds the mails to be delivered at very slow paced and are wet. (Tenna is delivering them for Spamton but doesn’t really know what to do, and often cries on the letters)

Neutral of killing Tenna only:

San would tell Frisk that the mail doesn’t get delivered at all (because Spamton is busy building himself his NEO suit to get revenge)

Fight with Tenna on neutral:

Tenna would do his best to counter, thinking a child isn’t really that dangerous. If he’s killed, he was wrong.

Fight with Spamton on neutral:

Spamton, who i think has better survival instincts would think Frisk is an actual risk and tries to take them down because he wouldn’t let anything happen to his husband, who has less survival instincts.(lovingly)

What Frisk gets after killing Tenna:

Some money. Because Spamton gives the money they earned to be kept by Tenna.

What Frisk gets after killing Spamton:

No money. No money at all.

What is interesting is that LV stands for level of violence and also Love, so i just imagine for that reason, when one of them is killed, the other’s LV goes up. Yeah it doesn’t make sense but it’s nice to imagine due to sheet grief, both Tenna and Spamton could land a decent hit on Frisk to avenge their husband.

For Tenna is entirely because he crashed out and wants to get the ring back.

For Spamton because he really wanted to kill Frisk.

Genuine question: Did Defernull Tenna panic the first time he saw Spamton had [egg delivery]?

It’s Spamton’s second time but it’s Tenna’s first time.

I saw Tenna didn’t panic when Spamton had [egg delivery] but that’s different because this is the second time for this Tenna.

But actually did Tenna panic? He probably did, right?

I know Swap au Tenna did! That’s for sure.

It also is funny to imagine Defernull Kris, Susie and Ralsei judging Defernull Tenna, and they don’t have the thing Tenna’s employees have! They can verbally judge Tenna! Even if that’s 97% Spamton’s fault, somehow!

You don’t really need to answer because i just wanted to share some thoughts and ask

It is a rather long post, so I'll put my thoughts under cut!

I like your view on UT-tnsp! The bit of their LOVE increasing by each other? So fun. Tenna wandering the Underground in nonstop grief, trying to preserve Spamton's voice left in echo flowers, trying to do the work Spamton can't, trying to keep going just for their pipis that'll now never hatch. Until in that endless time they'll never get out he finally breaks down from lack of maintenance and grief.

I imagine that it's impossible to kill only Tenna even on neutral. If you kill Spamton first but toss away his ring, Tenna (desperately) believes Spamton's still out there (either coming back home or hiding and needing to be found before we find him, depending on our LV) and doesn't attack the Human. He's found out the truth by the time the Sans calls come but can't do anything because the Human is already gone.

But if you kill Tenna, Spamton NEO (who hates us so much his determination to kill us melts himself and Tenna's scrap together like an Amalgamate) WILL catch up to us and WILL be an unsparable boss battle. It's purposefully after Undyne's fights so you're caught with less healing items on hand and barely a chance to catch your breath between them.

But he's also among the weakest SNEO and a fairly easy miniboss. He can't think straight, his attacks aren't that strong and barely stay within the battle box to hit you, his body is hard to move (it's not even two monsters melted together, it's essentially a monster melted onto heavy, lifeless scrap that won't stay together), and underneath the burning fuel of hatred he's rotting by bottomless grief and just wants his husband back. Neither of them are good at fighting –they were partners that wanted to live peacefully with their child, and we came and killed his husband. It's a knowing suicide mission for either of them.

I'm unsure how their patterns would change on a full genocide run –it'd be fun if their battle was actually together, a couple that tried to hide in their storefront from us, and Tenna takes every attack aimed at Spamton until he's killed and killing him makes Spamton go NEO on us. A battle with two phases.

And as said, on the full Genocide route you do have to kill their pipis too. Snowman style (*healing item). Though I could see that if you for some reason tried to keep it all the way to New Home, the Human would chuck it into the floor to break it without our input like they attack Asgore and Flowey.

Well, that's all personal ideas, though. I don't like committing to specific views too firmly or things get less fun. One day I might think of a completely different way the routes could go!

As for DN, Tenna was really panicked, but that's just a multi-universal common! As far as I know DN is more of a canon-divergence than an entirely unrelated AU –"the same characters as canon up to a point, but crucial bits changed later on," essentially, and I want pieces of that canon base to show through. He just doesn't want Spamton to know how strongly he feels or wants to be gentle, at least early on. And while that one was Spamton's second laying, it was his first as a puppet, so neither really knew what'd happen. But Spam had Tenna by his side now, and he'd accepted his love for him, so that alone made it many times easier than his first pipis.

Could be every time the trio revisits them they have a pipis on the way...defernull gang's personalities and motivations are still pretty open to my knowledge, but it would be really fun if the pressure of judgement from three teenagers was so heavy the big and scary mr. Tenna fell to his knees in defeat lol. Spamton's not gonna help him, though he's not gonna deny his own part if the blame's turned to him either. He's happy to admit he has Tenna wrapped around his finger♡
