it wasn’t often that the mermaid allowed herself some time to breath, to stay still and let everything pass by. it wasn’t much different now, but after being reunited with some of the people she cared about she didn’t feel the need to rush back to one of the reefs she looked after. she heard the footstep approaching, making her tilt her head but she dismissed them almost immediately. @sercnv
