A BIG Thank You to all who came out to serve on this chilly day today,... showing His love beyond our words! Jesus sure warmed us up quickly! What a beautiful day to #LoveDouglasville ! The Great Commandment (Mark 12:31). Goodie bags were made for our Local Pharmacists to recogize and honor them on National Pharmacist Day. Hygiene bags were made for local homeless folk; while homemade soup and sandwiches were being prepared with lots of love; and delivered to them this afternoon. A Free Hot Cocoa stand was set up at one of our local Kroger stores to warm up our unexpectant neighbors. Needless to say this was a BIG hit! Meanwhile, over at Good Samaritan Center the cooler was deep cleaned, along with some other equipment. Prayer warriors hit our streets praying over our neighborhoods, for our neighbors, and inviting folks to @douglasvilledinnerchurch, all the while offering a cup of hot cocoa. ... and prep and organization work was done at our homebase for future local mission projects. What an amazing day of seevice... we had a blast!
