DFV Assignment
Go Fucking Do It.
Pieter Levels. What a guy. This man plans to launch 12 startups in 12 months and is already half way there. He's going to be the next Elon Musk or y'know at least a future multi-millionaire. I really enjoyed the DFV assignment. It was kind of weird to answer questions on feasibility and viability when the product has already been made and clearly says on it's website that they're making money. The easiest one to answer was feasibility because hey - the product has already been made. Boom. Kinda hard to go into more detail that that. The product/service isn't completely automated so I only gave it a 9 out of 10. If Pieter didn't have to manually check his emails to see if the goal was achieved, I'd give it a 10, but hey nothing's perfect. The hardest one answer was desirability because the product itself is fairly 'tongue-in-cheek'. I'm not sure if the people pledging are taking this seriously or are just doing that because 'why not?'. All in all, it seems like a very cool product and a creative take on an extremely common problem. Whether it will survive in the long run or not is up in the air, but for now it's doing great. Almost $50 000 in pledges in just a couple months. No big deal.... I wish him the best of luck and I look forward to seeing his next startups these coming months. I also hope next quarters' exercises are equally as interesting!
