me @ me now that I've finally fucking finished my SPN rewatch:
[Image ID: Screenshot from Community with Jeff lying in a pile of frisbees while Abed stands in front of him, caption edited to read: "and we stop thinking about Dean Winchester so much, because it is not healthy" End ID]
okay but Dean is peak cryptid this episode, this bitch shows up on a first-name basis with God talking shit about him and warns them about the future before even telling them his name
I know the name Dean gives is a music reference like always but I also think it's interesting that the name he gives in the universe where his parents get the happy hetero ending is Hetfield = straight land
Dean: "I couldn't let our world get destroyed. Sam's still down there, okay? He deserves a good, long life. Hell, they all do. So if you wanna cast me out of Heaven, then so be it."
I think part of Dean is actually hoping to get kicked out, because then it gives him something else to fight.
Jack: "When I restored things, I wanted mankind to make their own fate. That meant no interference from on-high. Anywhere. No exceptions."
fascinating that Dean counts as part of "on-high"
there is definitely something Up with this Jack, but a large part of it is probably his exasperation that his dad keeps breaking out of the nursing home
Dean: "I was looking for my family. See, I come from a long line of hunters. I guess I was hoping that somewhere out there was a Earth that had a version where my family had a shot at a happy ending."
