Where: Klyde Warren Park When: June 6th, 2015 from 1-4PM What: A homestuck meetup What to bring: Money for food trucks, a blanket to sit on, any snacks you may want, etc. You don't have to wear cosplay! But if you have it, you can wear it by all means! I know this is short notice but it's been a thing for two weeks and I've never posted it here so my apologies! Trickster Meetup/Photoshoot, May 17

DFWstuck Tricksters,

  candysuits and I, ulawan5, are holding a photoshoot/meetup for trickster cosplayers!

  We have been planning to hold this event pretty much since we met, and want it to be the best it can be. There will be all kinds of themed sweets and food for interesting pictures, and we highly encourage bringing something odd! Even if you don’t have a trickster cosplay, you could still bring a dish and come in something else to participate in the spectacle.

Where: Spring Creek Green Belt at the Fred E. Harris section (just south of Campbell and N. Shiloh) in Garland.

When: Sunday, May 17th.We will be there at approximately 10:00 AM, but you can come nearly any time after that. Formal photography will be shot at about NOON, possibly sooner. This is flexible, but we would like for as many people to be there so we can all be one bright group.

Themes: Our food themes will be gore-centric. This is our premise. We apologize if this is the deal breaker for anyone, but this was the initial plan.

  Here comes the other sticky part: we have very little confidence in the weather. There are reports of high humidity and possible rain, so we are taking precautions and using a location very close to one of our houses so that we can quickly move there in the event of bad weather (we are making so much food, it’ll be worth it if it happens). We really hope that nothing will force us to move, but we want there to be options.

Cospromenade Funding

Hey guys, If you didn't know, I’m part of the committee for this year’s DFW cospromenade. I want to remind y’all that if you are going to be attending cospromenade, and you really want it to be good, we are going to need donations. Ticket sales cover only a small fraction of the event costs and the rest comes out of the pockets of the committee members. So far we have gotten NO donations and only a few ticket sales, and we have some huge expenses that we need to cover this upcoming week. If you have a few dollars to spare, please feel free to send some to [email protected]

Also, tickets are on sale now here for $6.27! They will be $10 at the door, so it’s better to get them now anyways!
