Whatever you're doing now, don't think about how Dirk propably didn't have a nice Christmas since his childhood. That even after Blackwing he propably would be alone for Christmas. He would try to be festive, get a tree and an ugly Christmas sweater, but in the end he would be alone in his flat, no presents, nobody to be happy with. After a few Christmas like this, he just stopped trying.

So when he finally has his agency and friends he doesn't even think about celebrating Christmas. For him Christmas was being unhappy and alone, now he isn't but he didn't connect it with that he can celebrate Christmas with them. Farah and Todd obviously noticed the lack of festive mood and they could guess why.

Now imagine how Dirk would react when he walks into the agency on Christmas day to find it completely decorated, there is a table with cookies and there is this huge Christmas tree in the middle of the agency. Todd and Farah in ugly Christmas sweaters, Todd holding a matching ugly sweater in his arms while Farah is still putting presents under the tree.

At first Dirk wouldn't understand what they try to do. If Todd and Farah wanted to celebrate Christmas in the agency they should have told him. He wouldn't have bothered them and stayed at home. In that moment the door behind him and Amanda and her Rowdys come into the agency, each of them carrying presents. When Dirk hears Amanda say "Damn I had hoped we would arrive before you Dirk. Well but we are here now, merry Christmas Dirk."

And that's the moment he finally realised that they are celebrating Christmas in the agency cause they want to celebrate it with him. He doesn't know what to do and can only say "But I don't have any gifts for you." before the tears starts falling. Todd is the first one to hug Dirk, but the others follow soon so that they end up in a big group hug, with a very happy Dirk in the middle of it.

I’m guessing someone had already said this but I haven’t seen it so...

I’m assuming from the length of time the people were in the tree/car that the sleeping dude in blackwing could be the boy from way back when, and that the room in the creepy house could have been his room and he played in his realm when he was asleep but blackwing got him and he got locked into his fantasy kingdom dream and that the spooky second version of the house is basically his nightmare right?

The thing in the tv was his favourite show and the inspiration for his fantasy land and he hurt himself in scissors in the kitchen so they became part of the dream too? And the narrow white bed is his bed at blackwing and he’s watching everything from snide his head? Or something?

Just a thought anyway.

The universe doesn't want Priest to be dead. Why?

Bart only started to question the universe this season. So in every interaction before she listened to the will of the universe, which apparently doesn't want Priest to die. But why? What's special about him? What's the different between him and Ken at the end of season 2 that the universe only wants Ken to be dead?

Guys, please imagine the Rowdy 3, all six of them, going shopping for clothes. Cause they had to get their fall collection from somewhere. Imagine it. The drama. The chaos. Amanda knowing she shouldn’t find that as funny as she does. But it’s the best thing she’s ever seen.

Todd is the boy

So my theory is that Todd is the boy. Of course Moloch made up Wendimoor but that doesn’t mean that he is the boy.

What we got from Dirks interaction with Moloch this season is that used to talk to him in his earlier Blackwing years. I guess that Moloch build the things Dirk said to him into Wendimoor.

And what was the thing baby Dirk had wanted the most? A boy who would be his bestes friend in the world. But first he need to find that boy so he spun a tale about how it’s predetermined that he would find the boy. A prophecy even. And with the help of his best friend everthing is going to be ok and he’ll escape Blackwing.

@neverland-in-space also pointed out to me that Todd wears a child/boy mask in Amandas vision in season one. It could be a coincident but it could also be a clue that points to this theory.

Who else is really happy (and fucking terrified) that our murderous psycho son is still alive?

You know what got me thinking? Back in the first episode of season 2 we were told by Martin how the energy draining they did doesn't hurt people like them... but it hurts (and I guess probably kills) normal people.

When Priest then tells Friedkin that he shouldn't have starved Project Incubus an just give them some people to drain, he said that they did that before. And for no second I doubt that Priest would be so cruel to sacrifice lives.

So now I imagine the young Rowdy who were probably in their teens and a baby Vogel repeatedly being forced to drain and with that hurt people so they won't starve. They probably thought they were monsters and hated themselves. Because of that they also stared to act out much after tiny Vogel joined them, They didn't want him to think he's a monster, too.

I also don't think that they gave them other Projects to drain, cause they couldn't put their important Projects in such a live threatening situation with an uncertain outcome... or they actually did that, but noticed that the test results of the drained Projects came back worse... so they switched back to torturing normal people.

(It could also explain why they followed Dirk the whole time. They couldn't find other people with powers and often starved themselves cause they don't want to be the monsters Blackwing made them be.)

Is there someone else who really likes Priest?

Like I'm terrified by him and all that. And if he's going to hurt/scare Dirk again I'll kill him. But he's such an interesting character and I haven't been scared of a fictional character in a long time. He is pure evil and insane but it's differently portrayed than Suzie and the Mage.
