BOIB Legacy Challenge (updating 1)

Hi simmers! Do you like challenges but you’ve already finished all your legacy-themed ones? Do you want to play something new and different from the usual world full of pretty sims? Do you like game genetics as I do? No? Ok..

However, if your answer is YES, I’ve just finished creating this Legacy Challenge named Bring Out Inner Beauty (initially Dorian Gray) (you can play it even if you just own the base game!). Still interested? Let’s start!

The main goal of this challenge is to reach generation 9 with a young adult sim. The particular thing is that your initial sim must be as ugly as possible.

There are some general rules for the gameplay, three levels of difficulty (if you like cowplants I suggest you the last one) and "rigid” rules for every generation’s personality.

To be as clear as possible I’ve created this PDF (updating 1) with all the rules, story and difficulties. In this legacy you don’t have to count points, you lose when you don’t complete the requirements of your level and/or generation. And if you don’t reach generation 9 (which is a real possibility if you like cowplants).

The pics in this post is an example of three starter sims I’ve made. I’m using them to test each difficulty level (I’m currently playing the Easy one with the green sim, I’m into gen 2-3 and I’ve already changed some rules in the PDF guide), but if you’d like to start it too the rules are linked to this post.

If you start to play and want to share your game screenshots tag me! I’m curious to see how the story progresses :D at the same time, if you find problems you can contact me and I’ll update the rules.
