this is demon hashira zenitsu! more info under the cut ^^
in this au, zenitsu, jigoro, and kaigaku are all pushed back like 10 years in the timeline– their births, their lives, their stories. muzan still attacks the thunder breathing training camp and still kills kaigaku/turns zenitsu into a demon, but sometime afterwards, when jigoro and zenitsu are travelling, they run into a lower-6 member of the 12 kizuki. jigoro’s killed, and zenitsu, in a fit of Anime Rage, kills the 12 kizuki member and is found sobbing over jigoro’s body by like,, kanae or something.
after a lot of convincing from kanae, the hashiras take him in and train him !!
not much development after that. he just sort of exists to look cool ldsfjka
