The India Today has released the full text of its interview with Sultana Kamal. And it is quite clear that the Indian news outlet hasn't quoted Ms. Kamal out of context. It is true the questions were all loaded and meant to target the Bangladesh opposition. But Ms. Kamal has got carried away -- pretty much willingly. She did not question the framing of the questions or did not try to bring nuances to her replies. It seems her rejoinder to the report is more about placating the uproar here over her comments than slamming the news outlet over its standard of journalism.
