People that are privileged and from the rich class will look at your face and say that hindu phobia isn't real.
Delhi continues to amaze and surprise
I have had a number of days to familiarize myself with Delhi and get over my jet lag.
The day started with a visit to the Red Fort, also known as Lal Qila. It is a magnificent historical fort located in Old Delhi. It served as the primary residence of the Mughal emperors for nearly 200 years.
Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan commissioned the construction of the Red Fort on May 12, 1639, when he decided to shift his capital from Agra to Delhi.
Red Sandstone Walls: The fort is named for its massive enclosing walls of red sandstone.
National Symbol: This isn't just another historic building in Delhi. It stands as a powerful symbol of India's past and its independence, and it is a UNESCO world heritage site.
The Red Fort sits on 255 acres of land. There are so many beautiful architectural marvels that it didn't seem to matter what direction you were looking, there was something beautiful to see. After a number of hours crisscrossing the property we decided to give our feet a break and get a late lunch. Enjoy a few shots of this wonderful historical marvel.
